UNE VIE JAILLISSANTE : HISTORIQUE ET EMPLACEMENT

L’École Notre-Dame Sahel-Alma des Sœurs Maronites de la Sainte Famille se situe dans un milieu urbain, à trente kilomètres de la capitale sur une colline verdoyante avec vue panoramique sur la baie de Jounieh au cœur du Kesrouan. Ce domaine constitué de deux ailes longitudinales et entrecroisées est un vrai havre de paix et de partage dans une atmosphère familiale où il fait bon apprendre.

Toutefois, l’Établissement n’est pas uniquement composé de classes, de terrains de jeux, de jardins, mais aussi d'ambition, d'espoir, d'enracinement, de solidarité, d'appartenance, de foi, de valeurs, ainsi que de rires et même de larmes quelquefois.

Dans ce cadre serein et protecteur, les apprenants – provenant majoritairement de la région du Kesrouan – reçoivent un enseignement trilingue depuis la maternelle jusqu’au baccalauréat.

 En outre, Conscient de l'importance de l'éducation comme pilier fondamental pour édifier "la famille" et par conséquent la société tout entière, le Patriarche Elias Hoyek, Fondateur de la Congrégation des Sœurs Maronites de la Sainte Famille, leur confia la mission particulière de prendre soin de la Famille. Ainsi, il y a environ un siècle, en 1919 plus précisément, l’école complémentaire de Notre Dame de l’Assomption à Ghadir, première école de filles à Jounieh, ouvrit ses portes pour accueillir son premier fleuron de jeunes filles. Sa toute première promotion de femmes diplômées se vit confier d’importants postes pour des missions socio-éducatives au sein de la société libanaise. Suite au succès de cette promotion, le nombre d’apprenants s'accrut et il devint urgent d'édifier un nouveau bâtiment plus vaste pouvant accueillir un plus grand nombre.

En conséquence, la région de Sahel-Alma lova dans ses collines un nouvel édifice aux murs jaunes et blancs et aux tuiles rouges, surplombant la magnifique baie de Jounieh. Notre-Dame de Harissa enlace depuis l'année 1969 l'établissement qu'elle protège et qui porte le nom de Notre-Dame, sa Patronne.

Mais surtout, cet établissement, mixte depuis 1991, se veut un espace où l’apprenant peut développer tout son potentiel humain : physique, intellectuel, psychologique et spirituel. La qualité de l’éducation et de l’enseignement acquis au sein de l’Ecole Notre-Dame Sahel-Alma permettent aux apprenants de se former et de se cultiver afin qu’en franchissant le seuil de l’école, ils puissent relever les défis universitaires et la vie d’adultes.

Depuis sa fondation, l'école ne cesse de répondre aux aspirations des jeunes en suivant le progrès. Ainsi, au fil des années, le collège s'enrichit de laboratoires, de salles d'informatique, de théâtre, de médiathèque, de salle TICE, et la liste des projets à venir ne cesse de s'allonger.

En somme, et grâce à une équipe dynamique et solidaire, le collège et les apprenants vont de succès en succès, trônant chaque année sur les listes des lauréats au Liban. Ils sont brillants dans leurs études universitaires et dans leurs vies professionnelles dans les domaines de la médecine, de l'interprétariat, du droit, de l'ingénierie, de l'enseignement, des affaires, de l’économie, de l'art, de l'audio-visuel, de la photographie, des services sociaux, de l'architecture, de la gestion hôtelière etc. Et surtout, ils sont les pères engagés dans la société et les mères novatrices qui écrivent ensemble l’icône des familles chrétiennes libanaises. Ils sont des chrétiens engagés dans les valeurs évangéliques. Ils sont « la lumière du monde et le sel » de la société libanaise. Ils sont des citoyens responsables du monde.

Ainsi, espérons-nous être toujours dans le sillage du rêve de notre Père Fondateur, et de nos mères Fondatrices pour la plus grande Gloire de Dieu et le Salut des âmes.

OUR LADY SCHOOL SAHEL-ALMA
A GUSHING LIFE : HISTORY AND LOCATION

Our Lady School of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family Sahel-Alma is situated in a suburban area, thirty kilometers from the capital, on a green hill with a panoramic view overlooking Jounieh Bay at the heart of Kesrouan. This domain constituted of two longitudinal and crossed wings is a real peace haven and engagement in a family atmosphere where learning is treasured.

Nonetheless, the establishment consists not only of classes, playgrounds, and gardens, but also of ambition, hope, rooting, solidarity, belonging, faith, values, as well as laughter and sometimes even tears. 

In this serene and protective frame, the pupils - coming mainly from the region of Kesrouan - receive a trilingual education from early nursery years to their high school diploma.

Furthermore, conscious of the importance of education as a fundamental pillar in building " the family ", and indeed, the whole society, Patriarch Elias Hoyek, Founder of the Congregation of the Maronite Sisters of the Holy Family, entrusted this Congregation with the particular mission of caring for the Family. Consequently, around a century ago, or more exactly in 1919, the complementary school of Our Lady of the Assumption in Ghadir - first girls’ school in Jounieh- opened its doors to welcome its first flagship of young girls. And this very first promotion of qualified women gained important posts in socio-educational missions within the Lebanese society. Further to the success of this promotion, the number of pupils increased followed by a need to build a newer and vaster building that can enfold an even larger number.

Thus, a new building in yellow and white walls roofed with red tiles was enshrined in the hills of Sahel Alma, overhanging the magnificent bay of Jounieh. Equally important, since the year 1969, Our Lady of Harissa has embraced and protected this domain which bears the name of its patron.

But particularly, this coeducational establishment which started in 1991, aims to be a space where the pupils can develop all their human potentials: physical, intellectual, psychological and spiritual. The quality of education and the process of acquisition within Our Lady School Sahel-Alma allow them to grow and maintain in culture, so that once they cross the school threshold, they can meet the university challenges and adults' life.

Since its foundation, the school has relentlessly met the aspirations of the young people by following progress. As a result, over the years, the college has added laboratories, computer labs, theaters, a media library, room TICE, and the list of the next projects does not stop stretching out.

In sum, and thanks to a dynamic and united team, both the college and the pupils are harvesting triumphs, one after the other, ranking first on the lists of prize-winners in Lebanon every year. They are brilliant in their university studies and in their professional lives in the fields of medicine, interpretation, law, engineering, education, business, economics, art, broadcasting, photography, social services, architecture, hotel management etc. And they are, especially, the fathers who are fully engaged in society and the innovative mothers who inscribe together the icon of the Lebanese Christian families. They are Christians committed to the evangelic values. They are "the light of the world and the salt" of the Lebanese society. They are citizens responsible for the world.

Let’s hope we shall always remain in the wake of the dream of our Founding Father, and of our Founding mothers for the biggest Glory of God and the Greetings of souls.

مدرسة السيدة – ساحل علما

واحة حياة ناشطة : تاريخًا وموقعًا

تقع مدرسة السيدة ساحل علما لراهبات العائلة المقدّسة المارونيّات على رابية خضراء - من تلال ساحل علما الكسروانيّة - المشرفة على خليج جونية. وهي تبعد ثلاثين كيلومترًا عن العاصمة بيروت ، وتعتبر هذه المدرسة المكوّنة من جناحين متطاولين ومتقاطعين ، ملاذًا حقيقيًّا للسلام وللمشاركة ، كما أنّ الجوّ العائليّ المنتشر بين حناياها طبعها بطابعه ، وحفّز المتعلّمين أكثر فأكثر على الإقبال على التعلّم بنهم وشغف.

لكنّ مبنى المدرسة لا يتكوّن فقط من صفوف وملاعب وحدائق بل هو أيضًا مجال للطموح والأمل والتجدّد والاتّحاد والانتماء والإيمان والقيم ، وهو مسرح لتشارك الأفراح والأتراح أيضًا.

في هذا الإطار الهادئ والواقي يتلقّى المتعلّمون – القادمون غالبيّتهم من منطقة كسروان- تعليمهم بالّلغات الثلاث العربيّة الفرنسيّة والإنجليزيّة وذلك في مختلف مراحل التعليم من صفوف الروضة إلى الصفوف الثانويّة .

إضافة إلى ذلك وإيمانًا من البطريرك الياس الحويّك مؤسّس هذه الجمعيّة بأهميّة التّعليم واعتباره ركيزة أساسيّة في بناء الأسرة أوّلًا والمجتمع ثانيًا ، عهد إلى الراهبات في الجمعيّة مهمّة العناية بالعائلة .  وهكذا ومنذ قرابة قرن من الزمن وتحديدًا منذ عام 1919 فتحت مدرسة سيدة الانتقال في غادير، والتي كانت المدرسة الأولى للبنات آنذاك في جونية ، أبوابها لاستقبال فتيات رائدات ، إحتللن بعد تخرّجهنّ مناصب مرموقة في المجتمع الّلبنانيّ كما أدّين أعمالًا اجتماعيّة تربويّة مهمّة . وبعد نجاح هذه الدفعة ازداد عدد تلامذة المدرسة وأصبح من الملحّ والضروريّ بناء مبنى جديد أكبر قادر على استيعاب عدد أكبر من التلاميذ .

فوقع الاختيار عام 1969 ، على منطقة ساحل علما المطلّة على خليج جونية الجميل لتحتضن ذلك المبنى الجديد ذا الجدران الصّفراء المعمّم بالقرميد الأحمر، وتيمّنًا بسيدة لبنان الّتي تحرس المدرسة من حريصا وترعاها سمّيت المدرسة باسمها وأطلق عليها اسم مدرسة "السيدة".

تعتبر مدرسة السيدة - المختلطة منذ عام 1991 – صرحًا تربويًّا مميّزة ، ففيها يستطيع المتعلّم تطوير قدراته الإنسانيّة : الجسديّة الفكريّة النفسيّة والروحيّة ، كما أنّ اعتماد الإدارة والمعلّمين الجودة في التعليم والتدريس يسمح للمتعلّم دومًا بتنمية قدراته ليتمكّن عند عبور عتبة المدرسة من مواجهة التحدّيات الجامعيّة وحياته في المجتمع .

وهكذا ومنذ تأسيسها والمدرسة تواصل الاستجابة لتطلّعات الشباب من خلال مواكبة التقدّم والتطوّر في مختلف المجالات والأصعدة ، وقد حرصت المسؤولات فيها وعلى مرّ السنين تجهيزها وإغناءها بمختبرات وبغرف الكمبيوتر وبمسرح ومكتبة وغرفة مخصّصة للتكنولوجيا المعلوماتيّة التواصليّة التربويّة فضلًا عن مسلاط في كلّ صفّ وغيرها من الوسائل التي تسمح في خلق بيئة حاضنة للعلم والمعرفة والثقافة ... وهكذا تبقى قائمة المشاريع المستقبليّة في نموّ واستمرار متواصلين  .

باختصار وبفضل فريق عمل ناشط وداعم تستمرّ مسيرة نجاح المدرسة وتفوّق التلاميذ الّذين تجلّت نجاحاتهم في تبوّئهم مراكز مشرّفة على قوائم الفائزين في الشهادات الرسميّة اللبنانيّة ، وفي تميّزهم وتفوّقهم في دراساتهم الجامعيّة ، وفي حياتهم المهنيّة في مختلف الاختصاصات من طبّ وترجمة وقانون وهندسة معماريّة وخدمات اجتماعيّة وتعليم وإدارة أعمال وإدارة فنادق وغيرها من الاختصاصات ..وأبرز ما يميّز تلامذة مدرسة السيدة أنّهم أصبحوا آباء ملتزمين في مجتمعاتهم وأمّهات مبتكرات ، يكتبون سويًّا أيقونة العائلات المسيحيّة الّلبنانيّة ، كما أنّ خرّيجي مدرسة السيدة هم مسيحيّون ملتزمون بالقيم الإنجيليّة ، هم " نور العالم وملح الأرض"  في المجتمع اللبنانيّ ، إنّهم مواطنون مسؤولون في العالم .

وهكذا نأمل أن نسير دومًا على خطى مؤسّس الجمعيّة البطريرك الياس الحويّك وعلى خطى الأمّهات المؤسّسات لمجد الله العظيم وخلاص النفوس.
